So yesterday was Halloween, arguably my favorite "holiday" of the year. While by no means jam packed with big thrills, I could argue I did alot of awesome stuff. I got to play a show with two guys who have been great to have around and make music with, for people whose opinion matters probably more to me then some of the strangers I've played for. We played no differently then we would've for a packed house, and I love that our energy is always just as present. I also got to watch a horrific film about sparkly vampires, and eat some expertly prepared ribs. With Halloween as the exception, the past week has been really shitty. I don't know whether its this time of season, or just circumstantial, but everything has either really been testing me or just in general going badly. I truly hope it'll past, because I sure as hell don't have time to fabricate negativity for myself and having to deal with it from outside sources is not something I have time for.
